My Story...

Hello and welcome! I am thrilled to learn more about you!  But first, here is a little more about me...I am a health and wellness professional of over 20 years and the Founder and Head Health Coach of ARC Health Coaching. Grounded in my undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati in Health Promotion and Education (emphasis areas in community health and exercise science), I have committed to lifelong learning and always seek to provide supportive, non-judgmental, people-centered relationships. I believe leading with empathy and curiosity is the core of helping others drive desired change. I live enthusiastically and fueled with passion and purpose knowing I support the health, wellness, and positive lifestyle choices of those I serve.

Throughout my career, whether it was trying to get schools to adopt American Red Cross health and safety programs, personal training my clients, helping patients through their physical therapy programs, or overcoming my personal health challenges, there was a noticeable theme…CHANGE IS HARD!  But why?

It was this unanswered question and the drive to serve and impact others’ health in a long-lasting meaningful way driving me to figure out how to close the gap between an individual’s desired outcome and achieving that outcome. Enter the pandemic and a lot of time to reflect and research that the profession of Health Coaching was discovered.

Catalyst Coaching Institute, accredited by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching, provided me the knowledge, training and skill set required to pass my boards and become an effective coach and even better relationship builder-because if there is one thing I excel at, it is connecting and building strong meaningful relationships.  Ask any of my 200+ former clients!

I am a wife to former professional baseball pitcher and serial entrepreneur, Zach Day.  You will find me watching my oldest son swim fast or play the viola, my youngest son play soccer or build stuff, or cuddle with my two pups Blue and Snoop. Always a cup of coffee, glass of wine, pair of barbells, or favorite book in hand and friends and family by my side.  Bengal and Bearcat fan for life! Love all things Olympics, sports, science, travel and interior design!

With Gratitude,
Megan Day

Experience

I have worked in various health and wellness settings- gyms, schools, communities, physical therapy clinics and in  the digital health tech space. Most recently I coached a 52 week intensive lifestyle change program coupling clinical weight loss medications such as semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro) and one on one, bi-weekly virtual coaching. I worked with over 200 individuals who have obesity or overweight along with other co-morbidities like hypertension, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol etc. My primary role was to meet them where they were while helping them establish lifestyle changes in the areas of nutrition, exercise, sleep and emotional health.
